Women Marines Association

The Women Marines Association (WMA) is a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing together women who have served or are currently serving honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps. WMA’s primary mission is to preserve and share the legacy of women Marines, while offering camaraderie, support, and community service.

Through its network of chapters across the country, the Association provides outreach, scholarships, awards, and programs that enrich the lives of its members and their communities. WMA supports active servicewomen transitioning to civilian life, veterans facing challenges, and the veteran community at large through initiatives like its Emergency Funds Grant.

In addition, WMA promotes leadership and professional development by hosting biennial conventions, educational workshops, and networking events that connect generations of women Marines. The organization also honors the heritage and history of women in the Marine Corps by documenting veteran stories, maintaining historical archives, and educating the public about the role women have played in the Corps.

Guided by values of service, honor, and fellowship, WMA fosters lifelong bonds among its members and encourages them to stay engaged through community projects and volunteer opportunities. With its focus on both the past and the future, the Women Marines Association stands as a vital force in ensuring that women Marines are recognized, supported, and empowered at every stage of their journey.
