One Family One Fight

One Family One Fight (OFOF) is a trauma-informed nonprofit organization and movement born from pain, rooted in purpose, and driven by the unwavering belief that healing and hope can rise from tragedy. Their mission is to provide hope, support, and healing for families impacted by gun violence and trauma, creating safe spaces to grieve, grow, and reclaim power together through advocacy, mentorship, and empowerment.

OFOF’s programs include a 12-month trauma-informed youth empowerment program focused on emotional wellness, identity, leadership, and financial literacy; personalized one-on-one mentoring for youth; small-group mentoring designed to build peer connection and trust; and Sacred Healing Support through peer-led healing circles and journaling workshops for youth and families impacted by violence and loss. Their Youth Over Guns™ initiative speaks to a sobering reality in New Jersey, where gun violence is the third leading cause of death among youth, and 1 in 5 young people in the state has lost someone close to gun violence.

OFOF’s three pillars of impact; healing, youth, and community, reflect a holistic approach that recognizes recovery from trauma as a journey that happens not in isolation, but together as a united force for change. One Family One Fight envisions a world where every young person is valued, every grieving family is supported, and every community has the tools to heal and rise; one family, one fight, one purpose at a time.
