
The Family Child Care Alliance is a shared-services network that supports home-based early childhood educators across Maryland. They are committed to the advancement of the early childhood profession and currently run the ASPIRE program for mixed delivery of state funded PreK. This ensures that parents have more choices when choosing high-quality PreK and that all children leave their programs ready for Kindergarten.


1. To build a network that supports family childcare business owners eligible to participate in Maryland’s publicly funded PreK Expansion program.
2. To help family childcare providers complete a bachelor’s degree in early childhood so the providers can achieve Maryland’s P-3 certification.
3. To help all program participants deliver a high-quality PreK program.

Encompasses a wide range of knowledge and specialties, with over 100 years of collective experience in Early Childhood Education.
