Homeward for Heroes is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to giving back to those who have given so much to serve.
Through Operation Disconnect to Reconnect, Homeward for Heroes takes veterans & first responders on 3-to-10-day camp treks to reconnect & meet others in same circumstances focusing on PTSD & suicidal issues.
Their Mission
Their mission doesn’t stop after each trek, however, as their motto is “No One Fights Alone”, with that they will follow-up with these heroes and correspond and even meet up again to stay connected and assist anyway possible.
