Southeast Alabama Youth Services Inc. (SAYS) is committed to providing quality care and structure to the communities they serve through residential components: Boys and Girls Attention Homes and the Diversion Center. Their Mission

To reach youth at the earliest development of problems and to assist in the solving of these difficulties through safe housing, counseling, nurturing, and guidance.

SAYS has been a cornerstone in Southeast Alabama, delivering essential programs, and aims to continue this legacy by providing quality care to entrusted children and families. Through dedication and hard work, they strive to benefit the communities they serve, remaining dedicated to their ideology and leveraging available resources to provide care, supervision, and structure to those in need.

The Girls’ Group Home has a “neighborhood” feel to it. It is a very spacious home with tall ceilings and room to breathe. On the grounds are a garden and a huge privacy-fenced backyard that wraps around half of the house and provides a chance for exercise and recreation. The Boys’ Group Home is a picturesque country home nestled on five acres of wooded land with a tranquil pond that provides an opportunity for fishing on lazy summer days. A dorm was added to the Home in order to provide enough room for ten boys. The Diversion Center is a secured facility designed to safehouse juveniles with staff on duty year-round. Currently, the Diversion Center has the ability to safely house forty-nine youths.
