A Voice For All Foundation gives a voice to non-speakers and those with speech and language limitations in playgrounds, parks and throughout the community at large by means of implementing communication boards. The playground serves as an ideal environment for children of various stages and ages to gather. By providing a voice to non-speaking children (or those with speech limitations) in the playground, they have the opportunity to integrate and interact with others, while also honing their social skills and building confidence through practice.
These boards empower children with disabilities to express themselves and interact with others, promoting understanding and inclusivity. This will benefit not only children with disabilities but also neurotypical children, fostering acceptance and reducing bullying.
Through their work in the community, they focus on spreading awareness, serving their neighbors, and advocating for change to make a positive difference in the lives of the community they serve. They currently have three programs working toward their mission: communication boards in school playgrounds, communication boards in community parks, and education/awareness programs. The objective of these programs is to provide a platform for individuals who do not speak, are not proficient in English, and/or have speech difficulties, enabling them to interact with peers and establish friendships.
A Voice For All Foundation also creates communication tools for first responders as well as health care providers so they can best engage and communicate with the special needs population. They bridge the communication gaps in our community.
A Voice for All Foundation is working towards a more inclusive community!
