Journey 4ward is a non-profit that serves victims of violence. Journey 4ward responds to the emotional needs of victims of violence and supports family members through the cycle of grief that comes with losing a loved one to violence. Journey 4ward is a resource to families of murder victims by providing free services including traumatic grief counseling services, support networks, community education and therapeutic activities that are peer-based, and ongoing. Journey 4ward is here to build community partnerships to better support grieving families. All services are free and bilingual.
Journey 4ward also promotes pro-social youth activities, programs, curriculum and teaching principles that will create non-violence, leadership, and other skills that will engage youth to become proactive in the fight against gun violence; ultimately interrupting the gun violence in our communities. Journey 4ward is an advocate for sustaining a community culture of nonviolence with free youth outreach programs that help youth discover ways that they can change the pattern of gun violence in our communities.
