Keystone Pet Enhanced Therapy Services (KPETS) provides a network of dependable registered pet therapy teams whose passion is Touching Lives and Warming Hearts by offering comfort, encouragement and rehabilitation through human-animal interactions serving Central Pennsylvania. The organization provides this benefit through their volunteer teams of handlers and their companion animal(s).
Their mission is to promote the healing and rehabilitating benefits of the human-animal bond, and our services are available to organizations and individuals free of charge.
KPETS has grown into a well-respected organization with 300 volunteer teams annually providing approximately 10,000 hours of pet therapy services to over 350 facilities throughout our service area. All services are provided free of charge to organizations and individuals. These human-animal interactions are beneficial beyond the moment of interaction for those living with acute or chronic worries and diagnoses.
