Project Life

Project Life is a membership based virtual wellness house for those living with stage IV metastatic breast cancer.

Stage IV breast cancer is the only stage that still takes the lives of 118 every day. Patients with stage IV are on treatment for the rest of their lives and they fight for their quality of life while still trying to stay alive. Only 7% of research funds for breast cancer go to helping to find a cure.

The National Cancer Institute defines a cancer survivor (survivorship) as; “In cancer, survivorship focuses on the health and well-being of a person with cancer from the time of diagnosis until the end of life.” Health and well-being include the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and financial effects of cancer that begin at diagnosis and continue through treatment and beyond. In many areas of quality of life and survivorship programs, stage IV is left out, with no space made for them to help with support and encouragement.

Project Life was founded to bridge that gap. They offer integrative modalities to partner with their treatment regimens, which include therapeutic art, healing circles, yoga, meditation, movement, peer to peer mentorship, education just to name a few of our offerings.

This is a niche that is serving the underserved. Project Life is inclusive and no matter race, gender identity, a metastatic breast cancer patient can find their space within their virtual walls.
