Red River Children’s Advocacy Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing healing, support, and justice for children who have experienced abuse, neglect, exploitation, or trauma. The organization has served children and families across eastern North Dakota, western Minnesota, northeastern South Dakota, and several Native American reservations.

Their mission is to facilitate healing and justice for victims while engaging the community to protect and support children. The center brings together law enforcement, medical professionals, mental health providers, social workers, and advocates to reduce the trauma children often experience during abuse investigations. Through services such as forensic interviews, family advocacy, medical referrals, counseling, and case coordination, Red River Children’s Advocacy Center helps children and families navigate difficult situations in a safe and compassionate environment.

In addition to direct services, the center provides prevention education, professional training, and community outreach to help identify and prevent child abuse. All services are offered at no cost to children and their families, ensuring that every child has access to the care and support they need. At its core, Red River Children’s Advocacy Center is committed to creating a stronger, safer community where children can heal, feel supported, and move forward with hope.
