U.S. Hunger is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity by both providing immediate relief and tackling its root causes. Established in 2010, the organization began by delivering meals to earthquake-affected communities in Haiti and has since expanded its reach globally, distributing over 184 million meals across the United States and in 53 countries.
Central to U.S. Hunger’s mission is the belief that combating hunger involves more than just food distribution; it requires understanding and addressing the underlying socioeconomic factors contributing to food insecurity. Through its Full Cart® program, U.S. Hunger partners with donors, corporations, and community organizations to cover the cost of food and ship it directly to the homes of those in need.
