Gianna’s Gift From Heaven is a foundation named after Gianna Palmieri who was a passenger killed in a car that was hit by a driver under the influence of drugs and alcohol, just shy of her 17th birthday. Gianna’s Gift From Heaven was created by Gianna’s family and friends in order to raise awareness of the dangers of driving under the influence and hopefully prevent this from happening to other families in the future. The foundation awards scholarships to students from local high school that exemplify what Gianna stood for and represented in her short time here with us.
