Jacob’s Heart Children’s Cancer Support Services is a nonprofit organization devoted to improving the quality of life for children with cancer and supporting their families through the many challenges a pediatric cancer diagnosis brings. Since its founding in 1998, the organization has embraced thousands of children and families, fostering a compassionate network of support, hope, and resilience.
The organization offers family-centered care that addresses emotional, practical, and financial needs from the time of diagnosis through treatment and beyond, including bereavement support. Services include transportation assistance so children never miss medical appointments, weekly grocery deliveries and essential goods, and direct financial assistance to help families pay bills during difficult times.
Jacob’s Heart tailors its support to meet the unique needs of each family through personalized assessments and ongoing care coordination. All programs are offered at no cost to families. Through volunteer efforts, partnerships, and community awareness initiatives like Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Jacob’s Heart strives to ensure that no family navigates childhood cancer alone.
