The McNulty Veteran Business Center (MVBC), established in 2018 as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to empowering veterans, service members, and military spouses to start and grow their businesses. Serving as the host organization for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) covering New York and New Jersey, MVBC offers a comprehensive suite of services, including entrepreneurial training, business counseling, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
MVBC’s programs are tailored to address the unique challenges faced by veteran entrepreneurs, providing resources such as the “Boots to Business” and “Boots to Business Reboot” programs, which offer foundational knowledge on business ownership and operations. The center also facilitates access to market research tools, business plan development assistance, and guidance on federal and state contracting certifications.
Rooted in a legacy of supporting veteran entrepreneurship, the McNulty Veteran Business Center continues to be a vital resource for those transitioning from military service to business ownership, fostering economic growth and self-sufficiency within the veteran community.
